David G. Marshall
COFOUNDER & SENIOR ADVISOR
David is a senior advisor and co-founder of Raynor Capital Management. He is responsible for the strategy, operations and finances of the company. Prior to starting Raynor, he spent over 30 years in the financial services industry. Most recently, he was the head of trade execution at Blue Ridge Capital which was a $8 billion dollar long/short hedge fund. Previously, he worked as a portfolio manager at Schonfeld Securities and Templeton Quantitative Advisors. Earlier in his career, he worked as a proprietary trader at NatWest Securities and Drexel Burnham Lambert.
He received an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a BS in Sociology from Colorado State University.
Noah G. Marshall
COFOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER
Noah is a managing partner and co-founder of Raynor Capital Management. He is responsible for deal sourcing, transaction management and business development. Prior to starting Raynor, he worked at Amherst Holdings and Eastern Consolidated where he originated, underwrote, negotiated and closed over $2 billion worth of investment property across the country.
He received a BBA in Finance from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. He is also a licensed real estate agent in AL, FL, GA, NC, NY, SC & TN.
Sam O. JAvit
MANAGING PARTNER
Sam is a managing partner of Raynor Capital Management. He is responsible for acquisitions, deal assessment / structuring, and business development. Prior to Raynor, he worked at Cypress Equity Investments, a multifamily development and acquisition company. Before Cypress, he worked at The Carlyle Group, where he closed on over $1 billion worth of real estate transactions across the multifamily, single-family-rental and industrial sectors. Earlier in his career, he worked in investment banking at Deutsche Bank, working in the Real Estate, Gaming, Lodging and Leisure group.
He received a BA in Mathematics from Amherst College.
